Coming up on “The London Garcia Show” this Sunday (10/5 @ 5:00pm - Pacific Standard Time):
Ignacio “Nacho” Serricchio, of Ghost Whisperer and General Hospital, and MORE IMPORTANTLY stand-up comic, is bustin’ right through that police tape and taking over the co-host seat! (Hey, I gotta give props to my fellow comics out there!)

What a fantastic show! We have 2 amazing guests who make a wonderful impact in their communities and among many people. First, Wilson Simmons III, has been making a difference in our country for a long time, including serving in the Vietnam war, has kept company with Muhammad Ali as well as other legends, and lives such an extraordinary life everyday now. I haven’t met him in person yet but I get the sense of such greatness. In fact, he was scheduled to come on the show later but is about to leave for Brazil to do more incredible work. So we were fortunate to be able to have him on the show before he leaves. Next, we have WOOD THE BEGINNING - singer, rapper, writer, and mesmerizes a crowd with each performance. Although he’s an artist that is newer on the scene, he’s here to stay.

WILSON SIMMONS III
Wilson has spent a highly successful career as a sales, marketing and management professional for a number of Fortune 500 companies for over 25 years. Wilson’s greatest expertise lies in motivating a crowd from middles schools to major corporations. His accomplishments include: National Marketing Manager for the United Negro College Fund in New York, Top Sales Manager for Levi Strauss & Company and manager for Hallmark Cards, Inc. Mr. Simmons is the author of two books: Inside Corporate America - A Guide for African Americans and A Diverse Guide for a Diverse Workplace. Inside Corporate America sold over 100,000 copies in the United States. The book was available in bookstores nationwide and was published by the Putnam Publishing Group.
Simmons’ inspiration to write his first book came from and elderly black man who picked him out of a crowd on a bus, in Philadelphia, and replied: “Young man, you make me real proud. You are what we work so hard for.” These powerful words changed Wilson’s focus to fulfill the pledge he made with other brothers and sisters in the 60’s to take the words of what we have learned to the streets and share it.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Wilson is a graduate of California State University Los Angeles. Wilson speaks to audiences about adapting to change in today’s working environment that is now more diverse than ever. He believes that inspiration is what unlocks the heart to unleash the dreams. He has been the keynote speaker for companies like Southern California Edison and Raytheon.
At present, he’s writing his third book: “How to Care for Parents and Loved Ones in the 21st Century”. He spends a lot of my time speaking to inner city youth. And as he shared with me, “I believe that is part of my mission to share and give back.”

WOOD THE BEGINNING

Wood’s music reflects the journey of men, women, and children. And like common people, he understands the deepest part of our own existence is through music. His music serves as a mirror of what we want and do not want to see. Through his music, we are able to see beauty, rage, greed, compassion, hatred, recklessness and success in this world. No matter what genre you listen to, Wood’s music inspires us in some way. With a “no color lines, no boundaries” persona, Wood’s music has a magic that reaches in and touches people from many walks of life.
